Christina began learning Spanish in middle school but finally mastered it through her studies and internships in Mexico and Ecuador as a university student. With two Masters degrees, one in Humanities and one in Teaching, Christina has used her teaching career to travel the world. She’s not only taught English in Chile, but in Morocco as well where she studied French and Arabic. As a graduate student, she was awarded a grant to study Hebrew in Haifa, Israel. Upon returning to the USA, she taught both Hebrew and Spanish.
As a polyglot, Christina loves the insight into other cultures that speaking to people in their native language allows and she loves the ability to travel without having to rely on apps and dictionaries – as one can truly connect with other people! Currently, Christina resides in Georgia where she teaches university level Spanish. In her freetime, she enjoys being outdoors, doing yoga, and trying to master another language. She is eager to be part of Freestyle’s team atmosphere and to share her tips and tricks with her Freestyle students to help them reach their language learning goals.
